“Blank Earth”

The term “Blank Earth” is used to represent a map that does not contain areas, countries, cities, names, boundaries on the World geography. In this map buried in silence, it is possible to read the story of the existence of the world that reaches to our day from distant past. The topographic marks transformed by the geographic conditions strongly make us remember the existence of a constantly refreshing and changing entity besides the human activity. Oceans which are the wells of the unknown, heavily whistling winds, constantly moving land pieces, heavy rains and dust clouds arising from the dark… All of these reveal that we cannot determine the boundaries of the biological nature and sharpness of the absolute life.

However the humanity has made a second life in the “Blank Earth” that has managed to survive in its own evolutionary process. This second world implies a space that we build with all its environmental elements, limit by breaking into pieces and dominate mercilessly. We did not only use our hands when we made this transformation but also our minds which forgot the justice centuries ago.

Nowadays while we have a perception of a poisoned world where the balance of power changes quickly, in order to remember that the “Silence // Blank Earth” is stronger than us, the only thing I can do is to look at the SKY.
